Child Protection Seminars and Fingerprinting are required for all volunteers in the parish working with children. All volunteers working with children are required to take a Child Protection Seminar. Child Protection Seminars are held twice a month at the parish - at 9:30 AM on the second Saturday and at 7:00 PM on the fourth Monday. The sessions are held in the lower level of the Parish Office. Enter the building through the Under-croft entrance take the stairs or elevator to the under-croft and enter the lower level of the Parish Office to the left. All volunteers working with children are also required to be fingerprinted. The parish is to receive a positive background check prior to their interaction with children. Fingerprinting Sessions are held at St Maximilian Kolbe Parish, www.saint-max.org, It will be helpful to call St. Maximilian Kolbe (777-4322) prior to be arriving to make sure the fingerprinting site is up.
