The back sidewalk was completed, painting was completed, and floor was laid.
The Schuh Center Food Pantry is undergoing a “facelift.” The goal of the food pantry is to feed both the physical and the spiritual needs of those neighbors that walk through its doors for the first time or on a monthly basis. From the time an individual enters the door to when they walk out again, the dignity of that individual is of utmost importance. This renovation will allow for the building to be more user friendly and aesthetically more pleasing as to provide for an even better experience for those who visit.
The plan is for the Schuh Center to be closed during the renovation time frame of April 18th through the end of May/beginning of June. We ask that if you have items to donate, be that food, clothing or household items, please hold onto those until after the renovation. We do not have the storage needed to take those donations at this time.
We thank all of those who have and continue to support the Schuh Center. Please check this page to stay up to date on the progress and the reopening date. We look forward to celebrating with you at that time.
